Status of Visakhapatnam (Vizag) Customs ICEGATE IGM/EGM online submission

It is observed that most of the ICLIGM clients at Vizag customs submitted test IGM file generated from ICLIGM software throe ICEGATE. Till 29th Nov 2010 none of them received reply from ICEGATE server. You are requested to update us any related activities since everyone including Customs department is concerned for the successfull submission of your IGM/EGM online.

ICLIGM Software Update (ICEGATE Ver)

Dear ICLIGM Software Customers

We are Glad to inform you that ICLIGM (ICEGATE) version has been
successfully tested with Customs ICEGATE (ICES) gateway.

We have upgraded the ICLIGM Software as per the ICEGATE (ICES
ver1.5) notification issued by the Customs authority.

Find below the steps to update the software.

1) Kindly send us your ICEGATE User ID & PAN Number at
icl.progs@eximon.com. (We shall update your Licence withing 24
working Hours after receipt of your Email).

2) Once your Licence is updated, Enter User ID & Password
(ICLIGM Users Portal).

3) Download the Update Patches, Version control and Other Module
files.

4) Extract PatchXXX.zip (where XXX is Licence number) in
\\conttrac\icldata folder. Overwrite if asked.

5) Extract vercont.zip file in \\conttrac\data folder. Overwrite
if asked.

6) Extract downloaded files in \\conttrac folder. Overwrite if
asked.

7) Take backup of 'test.mdb' file present in \\conttrac\data
folder.

8) Copy test.mdb file from \\conttrac to \\conttrac\data folder.
Overwrite if asked.

9) Open \\conttrac\data folder and run VersCont9.4.exe. Click
VerCont-EX button to start procedure.

10) It will update your database. While updating database it will
show messages about updating database. Click OK or YES Button.

11) After complete database updation run the file 'patch109.exe'
(Indian flag icon) present in \\conttrac folder. This will show the
message “Software patch applied successfully”.

12) Make new shortcut of Icligm109.exe on desktop.

13) Your software is updated now.

Update Details:

1) Software Tests the EDI file as per the ICEGATE ICES1.5 format.

2) Software generates the IGM & EGM EDI files as per the
ICEGATE ICES1.5 format.

3) Previous version of Software remains intact.

will be applicable.

We have upgraded the ICLIGM (Testing & Merging Module) Software as per the Circular issued by the Customs authority regarding ICEGATE format. Find below the steps to update the software.

Process to update the Software:

1) Download the Update Patches, Import Module, Testing & Merging Module, Main files.
2) Extract PatchXXX.zip (where XXX is Licence number) in \\conttrac\icldata folder. Overwrite if asked.
3) Extract ImpIgm.zip, TM.zip, Main.zip file in \\conttrac folder. Overwrite if asked.
4) Take backup of 'test.mdb' file present in \\conttrac\data folder.
5) Copy test.mdb file from \\conttrac to \\conttrac\data folder. Overwrite if asked.
6) Open \\conttrac folder and run patch109.exe. This will show the message “Software patch applied successfully”.
7) Your software is updated now.

Update Details:

ICL Import Export Data Subscription

As you must have noticed that few of the ICD's Import Export Data
is not coming on time. Find below the reason given to us by the Customs Authorities:

"This is with the dispatch of the DAILY LISTS of Exports & Imports for the month of AUGUST 2010. Due to the conversion from the ICES 1.0 to ICES 1.5 SYSTEM OF THE EDI activity, as per the implementation of
the same by the DATA MANAGEMENT OFFICE at NEW DELHI, we are facing certain difficulties in retrieving the data and this is why we were unable to sent the same in time and a delay has occurred in the dispatch of the same. We are making continuous correspondence with the DATA MANAGEMENT STAFF at NEW DELHI , and we presume that the problem will be over with in a couple of days .So please bear with us and as soon as the things will be set right,we will revert back to you with the DATA. The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted please."

1) Testing & Merging software traps the error if EDI file
contains invalid TP Bond no or Carrier agency code which is not
available in Bond Master.

2) Software doesn't shows the error for the ISO code 4510 &
4530.

3) changes in Via_no in Advance List form as per notification..

4) Changes in Concor floppy format as per notification..

Process to update the Software:

2) Enter User ID & Password.

3) Download the Update Patches, Version control, Import Module,

files.

(Indian flag icon) present in \\conttrac folder. This will show the
message “Software patch applied successfully”.

12) Make new shortcut of Icligm8.7.exe on desktop.

13) Your software is updated now.
